About This Site
A site about the humor found on both sides of the therapy couch — for everyone who has ever sat in either chair.
Clients know what it's like to really need help and come to therapy when things aren't getting better on their own. Therapists are caring people who try their best. If clients are lucky, they get a really good one. Even with good ones, there can be really funny, ironic, cringy, moments; times you wish someone else was there to witness and roll your eyes to share with. This site is the place for all of that.
Nothing on this site is against any person, ever. The humor here is done with great affection for therapy, clients, and therapists. It is for you for those, "Hey, it's not just me.", "Can you believe...", "It's so ironic that...", "What they don't see is..." moments between the perfect image of therapy is and what it is in reality.
If you are in crisis or need support, please reach out to a mental health professional or contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline or go to your nearest Emergency Room.
